GRI: Who'd Trust the Modern Corporation?

invites you to an exclusive event
Who'd Trust the Modern Corporation?
6:00 - 8:30pm
Tuesday 19th October, 2010
Museum of Contemporary Art, The Rocks, Sydney

Agenda:
Who’d Trust the Modern Corporation? presents an opportunity for leading Australian figures to explore the link between trust, corporate ethics, accountability and transparency; and to refine thinking about the responsibilities of the modern corporation to investors and the wider society in which they are located.
The panel will be conducted in a format similar to ABC’s Q&A - meaning you, the audience, will ask the questions.
We invite you to focus on key events that have redefined the debate about corporate responsibilities; such as: the GFC, BP oil spill, the ubiquity of social media (web 2.0), and climate change.
We would like to explore the emergence of integrated reporting (the bringing together of financial and sustainability reporting) and consider how best to enable and support ethical practices by the modern corporation.
This event will bring together executives from Australia’s leading organisations, as well as key figures leading debate about the evolution of corporate responsibility in Australia and abroad.
