Banarra’s GRI Defining Report Content (Materiality) – Brisbane
This new GRI certified 1-day workshop is aimed at people who already have a basic understanding of the GRI and wish to explore further the critical concept of materiality, what GRI calls the ‘define’ phase of sustainability reporting.
Materiality is an area where we have been able to deliver significant insight and understanding in the past during our certified GRI training courses. Done properly, materiality can deliver improvements, not just in relation to reporting, but also in terms of fundamental improvements in strategy development and risk management, as well as longer term sustainability outcomes.
At the end of the workshop you will have a comprehensive understanding of how to go about deciding the most relevant and meaningful content for your sustainability report, both from a business and stakeholder point of view.
This workshop builds on the success of the Materiality Masterclass we delivered at the 2012 Australian GRI Conference.
All participants will receive copies of the presentation materials, the GRI G3.1 Guidelines and an official certificate of attendance from the GRI.
In 2012 our 1-day GRI certified Defining Report Content workshops will be held on the following dates:
October 10 – Brisbane
November 21 – Perth
